Start writing at your own pace! No deadlines, no limits, no stress. Just you and the story you want to tell. You can log back in anytime here, or with the secure link we'll email to you.

Once you let us know you’re done, we’ll finish formatting your post and publish it for the world to see.
Why contribute?
Program Notes is about creating an online library built by everyone, for everyone. Sharing your story gives others the chance to find meaning in a piece of music they might otherwise never experience. Additionally, contributors are encouraged to shout out any socials, projects or virtual tip jars at the top of every post.
Do I need to be a musician to contribute?
Anyone can contribute! Whether you're an experienced performer or a first-time listener, we'd love to hear what your piece means to you!
How long should my story be?
There are no limits, but we recommend not exceeding 250 words per minute of music to achieve a similar length reading and listening experience for your audience.
Will my post be edited?
All submissions are subject to proofreading and formatting to match our layout.
We’ll never make changes to the content of your story.
When will my story be published?
Stories are published every Sunday in the order they are completed.
